A fairy tale comeback

The sports world is buzzing about Game 1 between the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers, played yesterday. The big story there was that a Boston player, Marc Savard, was playing in his first game since suffering a concussion during a game back in March. A concussion is a devastating injury and it wasn't clear when (or if) he'd be able to come back. Anyway, he ended up scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to give his team the win. His grandma, who had "thought he was dead" when he didn't get up after being hit, said after his goal "I knew he was going to do it. I had that gut feeling. He loves his hockey so much, that kid." Welcome back Marc!

In other news, the Canucks won their game against the Blackhawks last night 5-1. That's what we call a blowout.

What's going on today? The Pittsburgh Penguins play Game 2 against the Montreal Canadiens. The Penguins won the first game. The Detroit Red Wings play their Game 2 against the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks lead the series 1-0.
